Creating A Renaming Ceremony just for you

Before we meet I will ask you to fill in a short questionnaire about you and what you want this ceremony to convey to your family and friends. No questions are mandatory. You can decide whether you want a large or small ceremony, whether you wish to acknowledge the name and life you had before or only look to the future. You decide how formal you wish it to be and only share as much of your story as you wish.

At our meeting, which can either be at the venue, or at your home, we will talk through your ideas for readings, poems and any cultural or symbolic elements - for more details on symbolic elements click here

I will then create a ceremony that is all about you which you then check and make as many amendments as you like.

You can choose to make promises to yourself and ask your support network to make promises to you

You can sign your deed poll during your ceremony, or you may choose to have a commemorative certificate signing.

I can advise on local suppliers, caterers and venues and am here to help. You could choose to have your ceremony thread through the course of a really special meal somewhere. I'm happy to work with your chosen venue and liaise with them to help take the pressure off you.

On the day I will arrive early to help ensure everything is ready, and speak to everyone involved in the ceremony, and introduce myself as your celebrant. At the end if you wish to, there will be a symbolic signing of a fully bespoke certificate.
